Los Angeles? hmm.. My first thought is that it reminds me of a Thai Restaurant on the Main St. where I live. The chars and tables are made from elephants sort of like this. Or not but it reminds me of that. Nice photo!
The elephants wish to cross the street, but it’s full of cars, so they stay there, talking to each other about how to do it. They sure feel a little jealous, looking at the herd of vehicles on the asphalt… its an asphalt “jungle” after all. Nice shot.
I don’t think they are simply talking though. I think they are complaining loudly. But the drivers don’t understand Elephant. I like ‘Asphalt Jungle’, very clever. I didn’t think of that.

There is much that’s unexpected about this town, and I’m frequently delighted by what I stumble into.
To stand there looking at the elephants, and watch the cars whizzing past was surreal.
