Dayhawks

This keeps making me think of Hopper, and his ‘Nighthawks’ painting. But here, the light is daylight streaming in from a large window out of shot to the left.

T3?

Jim, yes this is from the T3, taken in a cafe near where I live. The film is Provia 400F, which the T3 seems to like very much.

Neil, another great picture, I think 98% of yours are high stuff, maybe the remaining 2% are those that I lost for my carelessness, so…
If you don’t mind me asking: do you process yourself or do you send negs to a specialized lab?

Stef, thanks. I have my film processed by A&I in Los Angeles. If it’s transparency film, I then scan it myself. If it’s negative film, I usually scan it myself, though sometimes I have A&I scan it for me. I process all the images with photoshop. Some get more work, some get less. It all depends on the particular image, and what I’m trying to achieve with it.
